I originally painted this moon on canvas 16" x 20" in acrylic. When the night brings warmth we cannot help but walk outside and look up to the moon especially when its full of light. I feel that the moon with all of its cycles brings fourth transformation to our lives. The moon itself is constantly changing from the perspective of the way we see it. Nothing is constant, but rather moving. I added, "I love you to the moon and back" because my mom would always say this to me as a child. When my mom and I see this quote in stores she says they took the quote from her. Genesis 1:14 says, "let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night..and it was so." The moon cannot bring fourth her beautiful light to the night sky without the illumination it receives from the sun.
